Just spent 3 nights at Strathclyde cc site. This site is one of the best sites I have visited in as many years and best of all its my local site. The toilet facilities are spotless and plenty of showers and wash basins. The grounds are kept in excellent
condition and every pitch is a good size and all hard standing so no mess to trail into your caravan. Well done to the wardens For doing a great job. Looking forward to our next visit.

Agree the site is excellently maintained. It is fairly new hence the facilities are of a high standard. The only slight negative is the traffic noise from the nearby main road.

We use Strathclyde as a stopover on the way up to Bunree. Agree it is nicely kept. For one night the traffic noise isn't a problem but probably would be for longer stays.

Nice to see some praise on here. This is a nice site although I have to accept that traffic noise could be a problem for some.

The roadworks are a nuisance for new arrivals and are due to last until next year. They are difficult to negotiate at times and can be very slow when arriving from the South. If you are I would advise leaving at J 6 and taking the Motherwell slip. You can
then drive to the site through the Park.
