Cleaning rooflights
I have an Elldis Avante(2 yrs old) and the roof lights which are two layers of clear perspex are now quite dirty. I have been told by my dealer that the best way to clean them is to actually unscrew them from the rooflight frame and wash them. I looked at the possibility of getting some sort of bottle washing brush but as the gap between layers is not great this might not be successful.
I assume that removal from the frame is best by the four screws of the handles and not the ones into the perspex as removal too many times may damage the thread and a new rooflight would be required. Has anyone carried out this or any better idea.
