Just returned from a 17 night trip to Ireland from the midlands area up to Stranrear,1 night at New England C.C. site over the ferry to Belfast, 3 nights at Jordanstown site @ £23/night up the coast to Giants Causeway/Bushmills/Carrick a Rede rope bridge
staying at Feigh farm C.L. site 3 nights ' £16/night

From there down to Eagle point site in Bantry bay, 5 nights at £30.93 (43 Euro) stopping 2 nights near Mullingar in mid Ireland to break up the journey £24.46/night (34 Euro)

A must visit at Bantry Bay is the Mizen Head.

We returned home via Rosslaire staying at St Margerets beach site for 3 nights @ £21.58/night (30 Euro) over the ferry to Fishguard.

So what's the big deal. As above sites seem to be cheaper, the car parks around the coast are generally free. Diesel is a little cheaper in N.Ireland but we filled up twice in the south at £0.9p/ltr and £0.86p/Ltr. We used the M8 motorway (over 100miles
long) with a toll, top and bottom 1.9Euro each =£2.73 for both......Hey M6 toll management around Birmingham please note!! £11 or £5.5 with C.C. card...why don't they feature in the TV programme "Rip Off Britain"

OK, if you are not convinced then try this one Guiness £2.87 a pint (4 Euro)

There has never been a better/cheaper time to visit the Emerald Isle

NB exchange rate at time of travel £1 = 1.39 Euro. -  Site charges quoted for 4 adults incl. Showers/WC/Elec Hookup
