Kids For A Penny Doubts
Hi, New to the club this year and have just been browsing the site to make a booking for October. I noticed that Troutbeck had an offer on over the October Half term where kids stay for a penny each night. Seemed like a good offer especially as they don't
often run them during school holidays. However, after checking out all the other lake district sites for the same dates Troutbeck actually comes out as the most expensive (even with the penny per child rate). Now call me cynical but is this yet another cleverly
disguised marketing technique whereby you think your actually receieving great value when in fact all they've done is increase the adult and pitch fees to compensate for the kids going for a penny? I'm happy to stand corrected if its not the case but is Troutbeck
worthy of such an inflated price compared to the other lake district sites on offer?
