Story glitch?

Is there a glitch in the story section or is it me?! I have tried looking at the "shropshire" story by Oneputt but it takes ages to load on here. The story has photos added to the text which is a much easier way for some (not me) to construct a story but
it doesn't seem to appear in the usual way. I couldn't add all of my photos to  a story today so lost time to edit. Any improvements on the way it seems so hard to achieve anything?!
