Hi folks, i have only had my camper 2 weeks, and everything is brilliant apart from loosing radio reception while driving. I have put a powered indoor glass attatch ariel on, and this is slightly better. I even tried a new Pioneer radio, which was worse,
so took that back for a refund. Any sugestions would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Hmmm...........Thats the sort of thing that happened thirty and forty years ago.Nowadays its very rare not to get a good signal on a car radio.I would say it has too be some sort of ariel/signal fault.I,m not sure how many different types of car ariel there
are nowadays.Has the ariel got a good grounding ?

Grounding is spot on Peter, I am going to try a rubber outer aeriel tommorow, and see if that cures the problem. I will just run the lead through the window at first before I make a permanent fix. Swapped a nearly new car for this, and its iritating me.
But having said that, in parts of Cumbria, i could loose reception on the car, and that had a very good dab radio, and was new with shark fin boosted aeriel.

If it is a new radio it might be a DAB signal issue. I stopped using mine (DAB) in preference to FM which gives a more reliable signal although still having interference in some areas.

The DAB radio was constantly changing channels trying to pick up the best signal.
