We are currently on site in Cornwall and although pleasantly warm most of the time it is very windy - we are on St Agnes Beacon so perhaps to be expected!

We have been having winds of 20mph plus according to the BBC Weather app and found that our Kampa 390 Air Awning was buckling in the winds. As it is the first time we have used the awning we were quite worried and I was on the verge of taking it down when
I decided to ring Kampa Customer Services for their advice. They said that the awning should be able to withstand these winds and far from taking it down we should try to inflate it more.

i did as advised and pumped until the plunger would not go down anymore.. Result? A very sturdy awning that moved no more on the wind than any of its framed counterparts..

just a tip for anyone else who finds themselves with a similar dilemma!!
