Flat Battery

We have a Auto-Trail motor home 1 year old, when we went to the motor home show last week after being plugged in to the mains on site before we went to the show, we came back to find the batteries were completely flat, had to call out breakdown services
to start, all batts had been drained, has anyone else had this problem or does anyone know what could cause this ??
