Have you found a good garden centre cafe near a site or one near enough to visit? Some garden centres are handy as stop off points on journeys. I can recommend Sanders (Wyevale) near Brent Knoll/Burnham in Somerset, just a few minutes off the M5 J22, N&S,
plenty of parking for vans near the coach area.

Batsford from Moreton in Marsh. A bit of a walk or a short drive. Had some superb homemade soup and bread

Another one good for a journey stop is on the A38 towards Plymouth, Endsleigh by Ivybridge. Makes a change from motorway services and easy access. Probably not as nice food as Batsford mentioned above but better than crowded services.Smile

There is a garden centre within walking distance of Carnon Downs in Cornwall too which has a cafe and welcomes dogs.

If staying at Sandringham or any CL in the vicinity then try the Cafe attached to Thaxters garden centre in Dersingham. Good food and free top up of coffee and free wifi as well.

Also the Fosseway garden Centre at Moreton in Marsh, just a few minutes from the site. Timothy's cafe is excellent, very relaxing.

+1 for fosseway garden center, loads of room for van/car parking. We go their for breakfast when leaving moreton site. Can be used when passing too (coming from stow to moreton its on the left as you are coming into moreton)
