Caravan Club not very green

Why is it that the Caravan club make their members travel at peak time arriving at 2pm on. More fuel used for a start in summer traffic jams,
Caravaners clogging up the roads not all road users love caravans. What about those who would like to travel in the evening after work off peak. I have suggested this to the Club several times before about creating say 4 area stopover sites around the UK where
you could arrive near your destination late and stop overnight paying a fee with electric hook up then later in the morning going onto your chosen site just a few miles away.  The caravan club must have sites all over the UK that could benifit from this extra
revenue.
