Zafira Tourer Towing

At the moment I have a Zafira 1.8 vvt petrol which I like a lot and pulls well but I want to swap my caravan for something a bit heavier probably a Swift 2 berth up to about 1400kg so I am looking at a zafira tourer 2ltr diesel which I like the look of however
towing advice is inconclusive. The club matching service says that this is not a match even though I have tried various combinatins of car/caravan, it seems to be that they don't have a kerbweight for a Zafira Tourer, other club matching services say that
it is fine, does anyone have experience of towing with a Zafira Tourer?

    The Zafira is the subject of a tow car test in the current Practical Caravan issue. It will give you some helpful information.
