Dog Entritis-like Sickness

Hi, I've looked back through loads of  threads in Dogs and UK Sites/Touring to no avail, so looking for help.

We intend taking our bro&sis in law plus their dog to the Sandringham estate in the next couple of weeks. It states in  the sites directory & handbook that there have been several instances of dogs falling ill with this sickness and to contact the site for
information, which I intend to do. However,  I would appreciate information of any such sickness that you may have encountered with your dog please.

Would I be right in asuming that this is similar to the adult Gastro-entritis ? Also, what can be done for the poor animal should they contract this sickness ?
