Unruly Cushions

Hi Everybody,  I am new to caravaning and have just bought a new Bailey Pegasus.  I have a problem with the cushions in the lounge area creaping forward when sat on.  Does anyone know a simple solution to stop this?

Apart from not sitting on them, no.  Same happens on my much older Bailey so it is an inherited trait.

Seriously, though, that slightly sticky perforated plastic sheet they sell for lining drawers works a treat!

Stop fidgetting. Alternatively you could try velcro strips sewn to the bottom of the cushions.

Then there's the problem of how to attach the velco to the seat itself. The slats that form the seat don't make a good contact surface.

Thanks everyone for your thoughts.  Amongst the amusing comments were interesting ideas.

Seems to happen in ours because the nature of the layout means you slide forward as you get off the seat. Try putting more weight on your legs as you get up, helps a little. Other wise just push them back in place

Undecided , One side of the 'Velcro' can be stuck down with adhesive or with a staple gun using 4mm staples .( just done it !! ) .Other
part lacked onto the cushions with thread .Cool.

We've had unruly cushions in our Lunar and also our new Sterling.  Made worse by 2 Labradors!

Perhaps ‘Obedience Classes’ for either Cushions, Labradors or both would be in order ! UndecidedWink

I have read somewhere that Bailey have a modification that addresses this issue. Maybe worth asking your dealer if they have heard of it.

its only my husbands cushion which moves. It drives me mad!

If anyone contacts their Bailey dealer do tell what the answer is!

Feel like I am a serial moaner to my dealer, all minor queries though. My last  was removing the drawers to get things out from behind the fixed unit. Seems you have to squeeze the drawers on the side and pull hard .....very hi tech.
