Hillhead Caravan Site Brixham
We arrived here on the Bank Holiday Monday 31st August at 11.25am and parked next to the caravan that was already waiting to check in. We arrived earlier than expected because the roadworks around Newton Abbot wasn't as bad as expected, we were told that we could not checkin until 12pm. (it does say on the site that no arrivals before 12am) on checking in we were told that we couldn't have a hard standing as they were being kept for the Motor Homes as they couldn' tow off a Motor Home off a grass pitch so we had to put up with a soggy and muddy grass pitch we all pay the same membership why should Motor Homes get priorty The title is The Caravan Club, the site had a lot of heavy rain the day before and the grass pitches looked like a goal mouth on a football pitch.ruts and puddles of water. Then 2 days before we were to leave guess what at 11.15 there was a caravan turned up and parked on the next grass pitch.
One more gripe, wifi didn't work airangel had been called to repair the network but couldn't fix it,called at the office to see how long it would take and was given a number to call which i rang ans was told there would speak to the engineer and he would report back to the warden, following day still the same, then on the Friday evening went the the club house and got a very slow connection. It seems to me that the wardens change the rules to suit themselves.
