Just taken delivery of a new Peugeot Boxer Autosleeper Kemerton.

On the first trip I noticed a couple of warning lights either flickering or glowing (Imobiliser and ABS) they seem a little brighter with the cruise control switched on.

Spoke to my local Peugeot Dealer who of course has never heard of the problem.

Sent a email to Peugeot customer services, got a reply but not sure they understood my question, this is not a back light issue.

Advice please.

as the three systems are not interconnected directly i would suggest that you possibly have an earthing fault on the dash cluster. I would suggest taking it to the dealer and show them the fault as some of them are not to bright(please excuse the pun)Surprised. Use left and right arrows to navigate.

This is a common problem and the usual fix is to change the instrument panel. I have had this happen to my 2013 build Boxer and the panel was changed without any complaint or difficulty. The problem often shows up when using the cruise control and indeed
the lights are brighter then, than when it is switched off. Also you may get lights glowing dimly for features you do not have fitted, such as Peugeot installed air suspension!

If you look at other forums, such as the MMM one or the Auto-Sleeper forum, you will come across lots of posts on this subject.

To repeat: the problem is common and the fix is to change the instrument panel (Peugeot are fully aware of this issue).

This problem is well known on Fiats, and the solution is to get the instrument cluster replaced, under warranty/

    Mine was done today !
