I have a new Autosleeper pvc with Remis front and side cab blinds.

I keep the van at home but cannot keep it out of the sun. Does anyone have a view on keeping the blinds shut whilst in storage, will the blinds determinate in the sun?

I just want to keep the sun off the dash and seats.

If  you  can  find  a  cheap  set  of  INTERNAL  Screens  that  might  be  the  better  &  more  easily  replaced  option !  Dont  forget  the  side  windows  in  the  habitation  area  as  well

OR  perhaps  the  thinnest,  flexible  hardboard / fibreboard  or  similar  covered  in  cheap  fabric  or  even  foil  might  turn  the trick  ??Undecided

We keep ours shut only drawback is they tend to stick together when it's hot but ok once cooler. Most of the MH in our storage compound keep theirs shut so it must be OK.

We keep ours closed too, always have done on previous MHs as well; doesn't appear to have any detrimental effect.

as Ina says, it shouldnt be an issue. we had the previous van for over 6 years and the blinds were fine.

we keep the blinds closed on this one, too keep the heat out, but also the alarm has a blue flashing light inside and if the blinds were left open at night the neighbours would have a field day.....every dayWink
