End of the tractor?

As I sit here twiddling my thumbs and thinking of our holidays over the last 12 months, it has suddenly occurred to me that the tractor on sites is dying out

As far as i can remember all the sites we stayed on in Australia, France and the 3 commercial sites in this country have all use golf carts as the site vehicles. The obvious benefits are lack of noise and fumes.

As the Club does not now appear to tow any members caravans which are stuck, would not a change to electric buggies create a much more relaxing site?
