An unscheduled outage this morning preventing login. When are we going to get a new forum, and don't anyone say "soon"?

I suspect, DaveFL2, that the CC IT team will think that that is a Terry's Chocolate Orange and a row of gob-stoppers.

It went down on Sunday briefly and has been down in the early morning for the past two days. I am also getting the occasional error even though it is back. My bet is it is being readied for "B" day on the 7th Dec.

I prefer to have a message "we'll be closed for maintenance on ** from *pm til *am" which is what other sites do. It is quite acceptable for sites to be closed for updating and maintenance and I think most would understand this reason.

I don't think they even new it was going to happen. Somewhere they have already mentioned it will be down for Dec updating. However, I assume the main page will carry advance warning. Nothing was showing this morning.

I suspect it was more 'caught unawares' than 'planned maintainence'.

I think you're right and I'm also finding it difficult to stay connected so I expect it has put site users off today. Undecided

The notice "essential maintenance" appeared, I needed to alter a booking last night and just did it in time.

I'm and early bird K and notice these things. It has been off just about every early morning this week, mostly back by about 7am untill today, Don't think it came back until well after 10am?

Last night the notice said it was down for updating. Presumably putting in the new dates / prices. I think they did mention something awhile ago, but did not see a reminder yesterday.

I seem to recall Rochelle mentioning it in one of the posts Re December booking day. However, I would have thought a reminder in bold or flashing text would have been in order yesterday.

This system is hardly fit for purpose. It seems to be down for "essential maintenance" every night now. Keep losing pages too!

    CC do something about it!
