Lunar Quasar FB leaking toilet disaster

We have leaking urine from the toilet on/under our carpets.  These carpets are fixed with furniture on top rather than stapled down carpets.  Urine on bathroom floor and now coming through to main area, we think from under the carpets from possibly a leak
on the seal.  Has anyone else had this problem and if so have you any tips for a urine free zone?  So far we have scrubbed the carpet and also treated with vinegar but we can't lift the carpets up.
