TV reception

I have an 2007 Avondale fitted with a stautus arial and I find the recption on the TV to be extremely poor no matter where I am in the UK and when it is clear that other caravaners on the site are getting decent reception. Whilst away recently at the Club
site at Battle the TV was re-tuned and no stations were found. I purchased an indoor digital arial and it found the full range of stations.Is there any way that I can get the arial tested or does anyone have any suggestiions.
