Can anyone help me please? What day does the fish and chip van come to the Barnard Castle site?

    The mobile chippie indeed comes to the Barnard castle site. There is a notice of times at the entrance.   We found the chippie prices a bit on the high side, the chips were undercooked and the fish reminded me of cardboard so we only used the chippie once.. In all fairness perhaps they were just having a bad day. 

    When we were there, we enjoyed the site which is within easy walking distance of Barnard Castle.

    Some of these mobile chippies leave much to be desired. The one that calls at Nunnykirk is decidedly lacklustre.

    Hi cook 420, its probably too late now but the Battered cod fish and chip van calls every wednesday and saturday from 4.30 till 6.30 pm. Their fish and chips are excellent.....enjoy.
