During the Summer Cambridge and Cardiff Universities will be operating a joint archeology dig on the top of Ham Hill in Somerset (look this up under the same name.) You can visit for free on certain days with a guide from the archeology team. Ham Hill is
the largest Iron Age Hill Fort in Europe and the site being dug is an old settlement where people lived. Do you have anything similar going on near you or near a CC site you've visited? Ham Hill is just off the A303 near Stoke sub Hamdon, nearest CC sites
at Cheddar and Ilminster and CLs in South Somerset.Smile
