Planner or non-planner?

I've got a short break in January planned (Baltic Wharf) and also a few days in a Cornish holiday cottage booked for February (to get my fix of early gardens)
 Nothing else planned at all. Are your holidays booked already for 2016 or do you use the "booking " day or just leave it all till later?
