I'm keen on ancient sites (I'm beginning to look like one too!) So the most interesting place I've visited on our van travels this year was the Jarlshof settlement on Shetland, about 4000 years of occupation in one area. I enjoyed sitting in the remains
of a Viking House in the biting wind of June, but it was worth it! So were the seabird sightings at nearby Sumburgh Head, having Puffins at our feet was really special.

Have you been to a memorable place this year?Smile
