We use our bikes to get about after settling on site and wish to make use of as many safe cycling routes (including Sustrans routes) as possible.

whenever we ask at a wardens office aout how to get onto the nearest cycle path or Sustrans route, the answer is pretty well always the same......i dont know.....i dont ride a bike, mate.......try the Tourist Information office in town 10 miles away........with
no help as to how to cycle safely to town for said purpose.

now, i understand everyone doesnt ride a bike, but it is still a very popular way of getting about and should be given a little more thought by the Club.

perhaps site info documents could carry a bit about local access in the same way as they do for bus timetables etc.

we dont all want to drive or to catch busses, we like a bit of exercise, either by cycling or walking....to do that in safety would be good.

anyone else found a similar lack of information or am i looking in the wrong place....?
