This year we caught the ferry from Portmouth to Bilbao and spent 3 weeks in Spain and France coming home Caen Portsmouth. We had a fantastic time.  This weekend we spent on a car park in Llanberis about 2hrs from home. Struck us that maybe next year we could
actually do a complete holiday in N Wales.

So I am open to suggestions. What we want is a back to basics Holliday so Ehu not needed so Cls Cs's rallies or Ths's are all welcome.

C&CC THS, July at Clifton Sports Club, York. On the cycle track and 25 mins. walk into York.

August, another THS at Carsington Water, Derbyshire. Lots of walking locally or around the reservoir and also lots of water sports.

Sorry but we did South Wales this year but if it's any use to anyone ..

Burry Port .. Next to the sea .. It's a sort of Aire .. Bumpy road and it's £10 a night with water and a nearby toilet.

Greyhound Pub on the Gower .. It's where the locals go. Very busy pub with a massive car park. Get there early otherwise you will not get parked. We got there a 4pm and went for a drink. We asked if it was Ok overnight which it was. Good food and beers.

Brecon was a nice stop. Main car park near the bus station. Toilet at bus station. We parked out of the way in a corner and it's free after 6pm and before 8am

Rhossili Beach Car Park on the Gower. It's National Trust and some of it is flat. Ok for overight and a pub near by. Some nice walks.

Newport Sands Beach car park. Young lady goes home a 5pm and not back till 9am. We paid a £5 and stopped all day and then had a free night. Nothing there apart from the beach and golf club which we were told does food. Toilet and a Tap.

Hope that lot is of some use.

After a week the weather changed so we went down to Poole instead. We also know a few places down there.

Boff, there are about 30 CLs on  Anglesey, and about the same on the Llyn Peninsular, so there must be quite a few there that are non-EHU. Both areas have load of places to visit.

Dont worry about that if we were abroad then we could easily drive 250-300 miles and we haven't been to the east coast for a very long time. We are lucky,to have so much on our doorstep sometimes we forget.
