Thinking of buying a V70 D3 163PS Volvo

Hi, I am looking at buying a v70 d3 PS 163 se lux on a 2010 plate but with the later d3 engine. Are there any problems I need to be aware of? I have heard that there are some problems with fly wheels and injectors but didn't Volvo use a ford engine
in the past? Also I want to use as it as a tow car for 1400kg I assume with the torque this car is okay? Any advice is appreciated.
