Most peaceful site

Just returned from 10 days at the River Breamish Site in Northumberland. A trulypeaceful site but is it the most peaceful. It certainly gets my vote.

    Fairlight wood in East Sussex would get my vote .

    Have you ever stayed at Nunnykirk, Bilko. It might well be even more peaceful than the R.Breamish site. We are heading down to Aberbran later this month and anticipate that it should match these two.

    Dockray Meadow site we found peaceful and Englethwaite Hall.

    Cae Mawr on Anglesey was very peaceful. Mind you the cl we are on at the moment is peaceful too.

    Altnaharra site is a very peaceful and scenic site.

    I'd forgotten about there, K. Must be the CC's site that's furthest from a town of any size.

    I've been to River Breamisha while back, Nunnykirk last year, and off to Cae Mawr in a few weeks. Peaceful is good.

    Borrowdale is another one but like others I'd vote Altnahara as the most peaceful.

    What about Bunree, can't get much quiter than that as absolutely no passing traffic.  Morvich is pretty quite as well.

    It is until they hold the Mid Summer festival in the fields near the site and then it's bedlam well into the wee small hours.....or at least it was a couple of times we were there.

    Well  then,  NTH,  just  join  in  and  then  sleep  thro'  the  next  48 hours !!

    Valle Romantica, Cannobio, Lake Maggiore one day after the season ended in September. There were only three of us there!

    I agree with most named but could also add Englethwaite Hall near Carlisle.

    Not  too  many  votes  for  the  very  quiet  sites,  if  you  please  or  they'll  get  lots  of  visitors  searching  them  out  and  where  will  we  be  then Surprised

    The only sounds you usually hear at Gwern-y-Bwlch is that of birdsong and to my ears that in itself is peaceful. Never been there late in the season when birds have stopped singing so presume it would be even more peaceful.
