how to stop cats chewing my tv aerial cable

just got back from the cheddar site and there was a stray moggie in the vicinity.  on packing up found my aerial cable had been thoroughly chewed where it rose to join the booster network at the bollard.  I know it was the cat.   as an ex cat owner i saw the damage was similar to that inflicted on leads at home in days gone by. 

just shortened the cable with a new coax plug but has anyone else had this problem? and have you solved it?
