Reducing Numbers of CLs

As anyone else noticed in the CC magazine how the list  of CLs closing is far greater than new CLs?

Feb Issue lists 5 new and  16 closures.

Any recently closed CL owners on the forum who can say why?

Is it cost of running or lack of visitors?
