Mayday Cover - Is this right?

Ive just phoned the Caravan Club to arrange Mayday breakdown cover, as a new customer and fairly new member as hopefully going away before Easter.  I asked about accident cover and was told they no longer cover you even if you have Premium cover.  So if
I am involved in a collison towing my caravan I cannot use Greenflag to recover me.  I was told that I would have to use my car insurance.

I would of thought this would be one thing they would cover me for and it took me by surprise so I have not yet taken out any cover out.

Have I been given the right advice?
