Number plate

Hi All

As the new owner of my 1992 ABIJubilee I have to change the number plate but it has got stick on numbers and letters on a yellow background, is this or are they still legal, would one have to get a new type number plate to conform. only touring in UK

just dont want to give plod any reason to dish out another unnecessary fine, "Oh look it has not got an E mark or numbers in the corner sir, could i just check your not carrying anything you should'nt, do those mirrors conform sir".

you know where im coming from.
