Truma Motor Mover repair
Hello everyone,
I'm looking for some advice. My Truma SE motor mover has stopped working on one side. I've done some diagnostics and I'm reasonably sure that the problem is either in the wiring to the motor or the motor itself.
I contacted my local caravan dealer to see if I can get it booked in to be looked at but they said I'd need to speak to Truma for it to be repaired through their warrentee. I explained that I was happy to pay for the repair and didn't think it was covered
under warrentee but they said I should contact Truma anyway.
Is this normal or should I approach another dealer? I am wondering if they are putting me off getting it repaired because it might not be financially viable to effect a repair (I don't know how much a new motor would be?) Would I be better off just buying
a new mover? This does seem rather drastic though when it could just be a wiring issue.
Any advice is greatly appreciated!
Brian.
