Best route to Blythe house Farm CL Staffordshire

Hi everyone, we may be nuts but have booked 3 nights at the above CL site from 13/02/14, I have spoken to the owner a very nice man and all seems well but when I try to route plan from Manchester it is fine till I get to junction 14 and come off the M6.
My question is do I carry on down the A51 and then back up the A515 and then A513. I am sorry if this is a bit convoluted but the alternative is the A513 through Armitage and Handacre to the B5104. Many thanks to anyone who replies. Cheers Big John
