First timers - which porch awning?

We  are brand new to caravaning and have been a bit overwhelmed by all the extras that come along with it.  

More often than not, there will be two of us and our hound using the caravan so we are not sure about the size of awning we should have or what kind.

We have a Sterling Europa 4 berth.

If anyone could give us a few tips on awning/kettles/toasters/tv's etc., it would be greatly appreciated.

We are really looking forward to our first trip so advice about anything would be fab.
