Can anyone help.? We are looking for a smaller van as near under 6 metres as possible but not as small as the VW camper van types. We want front dinette and back sofa's that could be 2 single beds. We'd like a loo but not bothered about shower. Does such
a van exist?

The Fifer "S" doesn't have a fron dinette but would otherwise fill the bill. (East Neuk Campervans)

We've come the other way - VW T5 to 7.5m motor home and wouldn't go back.  T5 is a great weekend van and ok if the sun is out and you've got a good awning for longer periods. We think you just can't beat a fixed bed and the feeling of space in a motor home.
Obviously it's all about personal choice.

The problem is getting a dinette and two sofas/single beds in a sub 6 metre van.  We have an autocruise accent and the two sofas convert into a double bed for sleeping across the van.  Don't know if any of the smaller converters do such a vehicle.

Have a look at Nu Venture.  We have the Nu Rio. Not an end Dinette but two 6ft beds, side dinette.  Length 5.6m, available pay load around 600kg.  We have found it a great little van.  Have a special build in so far as we have 4 belted seats, including driver,
so we can take the grandchildren out for the day.  It was adapted during manufacture.

Our new Vantage SOL fits the description in the OP... A bit expensive though, IMHO...

Look at the Romahome R30.  At 5.05 mtrs it fits easily into a car parking space.  It has 4 'proper' belted seats which convert to 2 single beds and has infill cushions that make up a large double.   Superb build quality and complete with loo/shower in a
moulded fiberglass enclosure,  a full cooker and 3-way fridge.  Eberspacher heater is optional.

    Unfortunately, not the cheapest.

Another suggestion would be Tribute vans, diner at the front and seats at the back.
