New caravan family
hi everyone
I thought I should introduce myself having just registered on this site following a purchase of a 2012 Bailey Pamplona.
I have had a number of enjoyable weekends in the month or so of ownership so far and look forward to many more.
Being a total novice I appreciate being able to ask questions to a more experienced audience than myself. I plan to keep the van on the static touring pitch it is on for the foreseeable future so questions won't involve towing but rather advice on processes
and maintenance to keep my pride and joy running well.
i look forward to being an active member in this forum
best regards
Tim

With a Pamplona you'll need plenty of bullshine. Welcome to CT.

Hi and welcome to CT Tim, good to hear you are enjoying your caravan.

If you are leaving the caravan on the site it will still need some maintanance. Tyres will develop flat spots if not moved so if posssible try and move the caravan a quarter of one revolution of the tyre every three months or so. There are plenty of mobile engineers who can do work on site if the owners permit it. You will find details on the National Caravan Council website.
Hope you enjoy the ownership.

Welcome and many happy 'vanning days Tim. Yearly servicing by a quality engineer will help keep your pride and joy in good nick. The outside is your barrow though and I suggest a good quality wax after washing- NEVER pressure wash a caravan! Hand wash only!
I use Autoglym's High Definition Wax- Go to the show and get it £10 cheaper ( and scrounge a micro fibre cloth!) Best wax I have ever used and I've used most of them. Dont worry about making mistakes- we all do it and even after 25yrs! All the best.0 -

Hi caratim & as everyone says above "welcome"!!
The Members on Club Together will provide a wealth of knowledge on all things "caravan" so don't be afraid to ask (only one or two of them bite!). We are, of course, here to help also.
All the best.
Helen.
