Category B licence (again)
Category B
The following is copied off the Gov.UK site :-
You can drive vehicles up to 3,500kg Maximum Authorised Mass (MAM) with up to 8 passenger seats (with a trailer up to 750kg).
You can also tow heavier trailers if the total weight of vehicle and trailer isn’t more than 3,500kg.
The fully loaded trailer can’t weigh more than the unladen vehicle (this only applies to licences issued before 19 January 2013).
The final sentance is the part i am questioning. The above site say's it was last updated on 29/11/2013 but it has been posted on the forum that it has been amended to take this sentence out of the statement but doesn't say where it is stated in writing.
Can anybody please point me in the direction as to where this is actually stated. Thank you in anticipation.
