Air Conditioning units.

We are planning to take a long retirement tour of Europe next year, and I was thinking about the need for Air Con. I would like to hear from anyone that may have fitted the under bench type unit as offered by both Truma and Dometic, which appear to offer heat and cooling. 

 

This would be our first trip abroad with the van as we are only in our second year as caravanners.

What about the voltage for touring abroad, the units are 230 volts, which raises the question of are they compatable with the supply on EU campites?
