I would guess that the CC has a very large membership, that should carry some weight with the Dealers and Manufacturers, therefore I would like to suggest that the CC enter into a partnership agreement with Manufacturers, Dealers and Finance companies to
provide an agreed level of benefits to our membership.

For example.

1                     CC discount on all purchases.

2                     HP available at reduced rates.

3                     Quibble free warranties with a time limit on resolutions.

4                     Warranty,  general repair work or servicing available at any partner dealership

5                     ETC.

A central dealership or a perhaps a chain would fit the needs. It should also be possible for a number of Dealers to sign up to a charter and anyone not honouring  their commitments would be removed from the list of Partnership. A full list of chartered
suppliers could be carried in the CC mag, so we have an up to date reference. Each charter member given preferential advertising rates to ensure we see only adverts from those suppliers willing to give the service we demand. The benefit for all is clear to
see. Perhaps the only Trade adverts could be from Partners.

Manufacturers would be under pressure to supply a better service to dealers who were outside the charter, that have either fallen out of favour, or could not commit to the charter requirements originally.

We could also have an arbitration process that the Industry partners should support financially for disputed claims prior to a company being removed from the Partnership List

This is probably a way forward that the CC could commit to rather than the complaint posts we have been discussing lately.
