shattered awning pole repair

hi all,  new to all this so please go easy. just spent tbe last couple of nights at uttoxeter site, stupidly put my awning up,  riviera 300 mobil,  awning lasted the heavy winds surprisingly on monday night but on taking it down tuesday i found one of the
poles had split in half, 3rd pole in the row,  how do i fix or replace this? i have a spare pole but wondered with the elastic etc.  thanks
