What year did Peugoet Boxer sort the gear box

hi, has any one on here got any idea on what year and model peugeot finally got round to addressing there gear box issue with water getting in? thanks

    Mine is a 99 and suffers this problem. Drain the gearbox oil out into a clear container and see if it is clear or milky. Clear is okay, milky has water in it. Won't hurt to change the oil anyway.

    I change the gearbox oil same time as the engine oil. Cost is nothing compared to the cost of a gearbox replacement.
