Deciding to go away the weekend before the bank holiday we headed for the west coast of Dumfries and Galloway ,with nothing booked we took a chance and headed for the C.C site at Garlieston,what a nice surprise when we arrived,a very helpful warden(ess)
a very peaceful site.The local pub was just a 5 minute walk away and does a lovely meal,a very big open fire and a nice pint.Really enjoyable for the short while we were there.
