A bright idea, or an impractical one?
We were away for a long weekend a couple of weeks ago and when we arrived on site we realised that we had forgotton to bring the awning skirt with us. Hubby being the kind of improvisational genius that he is (IMO!) managed to do something with the awning
carpet so that it was more or less blocking out any draft wooshing in from under the van with the use of some tape, strategically placed items to hold the carpet up etc. It got us wondering why no one had cottoned on to the idea of having an awning skirt
that was either part of an awning carpet or that could "zip" on to one, to allow for a totally draft free (or as draft free as possible) inner awning space - we've searched on line thinking that someone somewhere must have thought of it, but it seems not.
Is that because it is a totally impractical idea, or should we be contacting Dragon's Den PDQ? Maybe something like this
does already exist and we've just not found it, anyway, it was an idea and I wondered what you all thought?
