What is Politics

Another thread has bitten the dust in the Social Room, under General Chat, as it maybe political ?  I reckon the Club Moderators have a pretty thankless task in deciding what is and what isn't on this highly subjective subject.  I personally think there is enough social media out there dealing with politics and probably a lot of members use it?  Perhaps the heading "General Chat" invites that dirt of discussion and should be Deleted User , I do accept that those discussions may surface elsewhere, but is would be interesting and to what limitations people feel should or should not be imposed?
