Just a warning for people heading to the Club's Bognor site in the 2016 season - the second half of the new Bognor relief road opens today (and what a relief it should be for some of us!), and the road that goes past the entrance to the site will become
MUCH busier. This is now the main A259 coast road (which joins up with the A29 for a short stretch along the eastern boundary of the site), expect more road noise than there used to be!

Many thanks for this information, we were due to visit for 7 nights in early May. A change of plan is now needed after looking on a map of the new road. Sorry Rowan Park but you are now cancelled.Don't cry

We stayed at Rowen Park last year. Whilst there was some traffic noise it was mainly during the day. It wouldn't put us off going again as its a nice site.

Mike, shopping isn't our thing, unfortunately.

We stayed at the Bognor site a few years ago, so were prepared for the road noise, just not as much as there will be now with the new road open.

Can't say I noticed traffic noise when there a couple of years ago although I wasn't on a pitch adjacent to the road.

Thanks, Mike. We stayed there last September. Road noise and pollution was an issue for us. It was constant from early morning to very early morning next day. Shame about the site because it is lovely.
