Mercedes E Class Estate as a tow car ?

I am considering buying a 2011 or 2012 Mercedes E Class Estate as a tow car. Our caravan is a 4 berth Swift Conqueror 530. We would welcome opinions from any member who has used this type of car. In addition we would welcome suggestions as to which model
