Supermarket Parking

What I like about a MH having just swapped from a tourer, is the ability to park in a supermarket car park en-route to upload the grub. However I always try to find a quiet area of the car park due to the fact I will probably take up 2 slots.  Having found
a suitable area I usually park sideways on rather than stick out into the lanes, I always give myself some wriggle room because you can bet your boots someone will park in front of me despite being surround by loads of empty spaces!  I'd it just me or do other
experience this as well ?
