Are CC site designs getting to be old fashioned?

Just back from Willmingcott - nice new facilities block but it conforms to the standard large room with shower cubicles / wash cubicles & wc's like most other sites.

I wonder if this design has had its day when you compare it to commercial sites such as OId Oaks where the new block has individual rooms each with a shower / toilet / wash basin. These individual rooms are more like being at home, more private and probably
better for families.

Strange to say one of the New Forest CC sites had individual rooms like this built many years ago - so its hardly a new idea.
