Restoring Shine to GRP front panel

Hi all,

Really sorry, if this has already been covered in the past.

I hav a 2004 Abbey with a very dull looking front panel. I've tried a few different techniques to try (ultimately unsuccessfuly) and restore the lustre of the front panel, from good old fashioned elbow grease (my own, not the product) to expensive polishes
and an electric polisher.

Has anyone had any success with polishing dull GRP back to a shine, and did so, how?
